He was introduced to the Nigerian Music industry through his village Bongo Music group called The Olokwu Boys, a Cultural Dance Group. While a member of the Bongo group he was also a vocalist at the local Anglican Church choir in his community. For Ugo Stevenson, the traditional music culture is a greater influence.
Ugo Stevenson, studied Theatre Arts at the University of Port-Harcourt. He has worked with the Imo State Council for Arts and Culture as a Performing Artiste, Rosy Arts Theatre as an Entertainment manager. Entertainment columnist with The Horn, The People, Nigeria Newspoint, National News break Newspapers. He is the Initiator/Producer of Ekwe(All Igbo Music) Awards and the Facilitator of the Imo State Based Artistes(ISBA) Honors Events. Ugo Stevenson rules the highlife music culture in Nigeria with these classic albums; NDAA CHINEKE, THANK YOU TEACHER, ONYEKEM, UNBANNED, ISHIOPI, OKE MMADU and more yet to be released.
